working to believe this today...

a mouse in the house

there's a mouse in the house

and it showed itself today.

there's a mouse in the house

and I screamed.

and I sat on the top of my couch.

and I called my oldest friend.

and I made a list.

sticky traps, gloves, cleaning supplies,

a candle for good measure.

there's a mouse in the house

and I'm thoroughly grossed out.

there's a mouse in the house

and I want to be strong.

there's a mouse in the house

and every movement makes me jump.

there's a mouse in the house

but oh dear Lord now there's two!

there are mice in the house

and I need a cat.
